Description
A group of four bound volumes of The Edinburgh Review, or Critical Journal.
Comprising:
Volume II (Sixth Edition, 1810, covering April–July 1803)
Volume III (early 19th century)
Volume CV (105, mid-19th century)
Volume CVI (106, mid-19th century)
Half-leather bindings with gilt-tooled spines, black title labels, and marbled boards.
With armorial bookplate of Sir Edmund R. R. Baker, Bart.
Condition: Age-related wear to bindings with rubbing to leather and boards, corners bumped.
Foxing and age-staining to pages throughout, with some signs of slight damp in places.
Bindings remain sound.
Decorative as a small library set and of interest for historical reading.
Dimensions: Largest 21.5 x 14 cm
