Antique Hand Painted Pink Ground Porcelain Table Lamp, c.1890
A decorative late 19th century hand painted porcelain table lamp.
The porcelain body of classical vase form, with two swan-neck handles and a rich pink ground.
Finely hand painted floral panels to both sides, with moulded and gilded decoration throughout.
The base is of good quality brass, with a later electrical fitting taking a bayonet cap (BC) bulb.
Dimensions: Height: 49 cm Width: 22 cm Depth: 21 cm
Condition: Good decorative condition overall.
Some old wear to gilding and light surface marks.
An old hairline crack from the base running approx. 4 inches up the body, and an old repair to one handle (as shown).
Later lamp conversion.
Heavy and stable.
A good decorative antique lamp, ready for use or display.
