Late 19th Century Continental Bisque Porcelain & Ormolu Candelabrum A late 19th-century Continental bisque porcelain candelabrum, the vase-form body moulded in relief with cherubs amidst clouds, mounted with gilt brass (ormolu) fittings and raised on a stepped square base. Originally conceived as an oil lamp and later converted to a multi-light candelabrum, retaining the central reservoir and side filler. Decorative work in the French revival taste of the late Victorian / Belle Époque period, dating to circa 1890. Dimensions: 22 × 22 × 66 cm (height) The bisque porcelain in good order without damage. One candle sconce is missing from the upper section. Signs of old wiring fixings from a previous lamp life
