Each chair is carved with scrolling foliate and rocaille motifs, finished in bright gilt and upholstered in a floral patterned fabric. The shaped backs, scrolled arms, and cabriole legs capture the Rococo aesthetic in a bold decorative manner typical of Italian work of the period.
