Antique Georgian Revival Mahogany Torchère Pedestal Stand Fine antique Georgian style mahogany torchère of tall and elegant proportions. The circular dished top with moulded rim and bead detail above a turned collar and finely stop-fluted column, the lower section carved with a gadrooned baluster. The stand is raised on three shaped cabriole legs with leaf carved knees terminating in pad feet. Well balanced in its proportions, the piece has a slender column and a particularly tall profile, giving it a strong decorative presence.
