This Irish Coin Display Set Contains Eight Coins with Mixed Dates.
Half-crown, Florin, Shilling, Sixpence, Threepence, Penny, Halfpenny, Farthing.
Please Note Farthings Are Scarce but for a Complete Full Set Needs to Be Included.
Irish Coins Were First issued in 1928 and ended in 1968 (Decimal Coins issued in 1971).
The Pre-Decimal Coins From 1928 to 1968 Had the Following Designs.
Half-Crown Depicts a Horse, Florin a Salmon Fish, Shilling a Bull, Sixpence a Wolfhound, Threepence a Hare, Penny a Hen and chicks, Halfpenny a sow and piglets and Farthing a Woodcock in flight.
The Reverse of Each Coin Shows the Irish Harp.
The Coins Are Attached on To a Designed Metal Plaque.
