Old Tupton Ware Porcelain Trinket Box with Floral & Butterfly Decoration A hand-decorated Old Tupton Ware porcelain trinket box, made in England in the late 20th century. Of rectangular form with a hinged brass-tone metal mounted lid, decorated in raised tube-lined enamels with flowering foliage and a butterfly, set against a rich cobalt blue and softly shaded sky ground. The interior is glazed white and the base is marked with the Old Tupton Ware crown factory stamp. This pattern and colourway are among the more decorative designs produced by Old Tupton during the 1990s and early 2000s. Dimensions: 6.5 × 5 × 4 cm (height) Condition: In very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The metal mount shows only light surface wear.
