Description

A hand-painted Kashmiri papier-mâché trinket box, of oval form, decorated with traditional floral motifs in ochre and red on a rich green ground. The lid and sides feature stylised leaf and flower designs in the classic naqashi style. Lacquered finish, showing areas of wear and age-related flaking. Dimensions: 8cm wide, 7cm deep, 4cm high.
