A good-quality Victorian copper coal scuttle of helmet form, with a well-aged and characterful hammered surface. 
Fitted with brass swing handle and fixed rear handle for ease of carrying. 
Raised on a rounded base. 
This piece has a good weight and presence, polished for display while retaining its period charm. 

Dimensions: 28 cm wide x 40 cm deep x 43 cm high (with handle raised) 

Condition: In good antique condition, commensurate with age. 
Various dinks and dents to the body as shown, minor distortion to the base though it sits well.
