Description
A decorative late 19th to early 20th century brass trivet, featuring a pierced design of a lion rampant within a circular frame.
Raised on three shaped legs terminating in paw feet.
Likely used to support kettles or cookware, the piece reflects the Gothic revival and heraldic influences popular during the Victorian and Edwardian periods.
Material: Cast brass
Design: Heraldic lion rampant
Dimensions: 19 cm diameter x 9 cm high
Condition: Some surface tarnish and wear consistent with age and use.
