Late Victorian Pierced Brass Toasting Fork 
A decorative pierced brass toasting fork dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. 
The trident-shaped head features elegant scrolled detailing, while the handle is finely pierced with foliate and lozenge-shaped motifs. 
The shaft is of tubular brass, offering a pleasing balance and good length for hearthside use. 
A practical and attractive piece of period fireside equipment, likely intended for toasting bread or crumpets. 
English, circa 1880–1900. 
Good colour and patina; minor age-related wear consistent with use.
