Description
A good three-piece set of antique fire irons, likely Victorian, circa 1870–1900, comprising a pierced shovel, a pair of tongs, and a poker.
The shovel measures approximately 71.5 cm in length and features an ornate foliate design to the pan.
Each piece is fitted with a turned handle and knop finials, with a pleasing aged patina throughout.
Constructed in brass or a similar alloy, the set is both decorative and functional, ideal for use with a traditional fireplace or as a period feature in a country or town house interior.
