Late 19th c. Gilded Metal Ewer Lamp – Later Electrified Description: A decorative late 19th to early 20th century ewer, later converted to a table lamp. Cast in base metal with detailed Rococo-style scrolling and floral relief, and finished in worn gilt. Originally intended as a decorative object, it was adapted for electric use during the mid-20th century. The gilding has softened over time, with wear consistent with age and handling. Fitted with a UK plug and candlestick-style fitting. Fully working, though the wiring is older and may benefit from checking prior to use.
