Antique Hamilton Full Hunter Pocket Watch – 17 Jewels, c.1925 A very clean early 20th-century full hunter pocket watch by the Hamilton Watch Company of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA. This piece features a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, recessed seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel spade hands. The dial is signed HAMILTON. The movement is a manually-wound, 17-jewel type marked Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, PA, with serial number 1856038, dating the piece to circa 1925. The movement is in excellent, clean condition and runs smoothly when wound (not tested for precise timekeeping). The gold-coloured case is marked Hamilton Watch Co., Guaranteed 25 Years, with serial number 10632601. This indicates a quality gold-filled case, not solid gold. The case opens crisply and shows very little wear, with only minor marks consistent with careful handling. No dents or losses. Retains its original high-domed crystal and is accompanied by what appears to be the original period pouch, in brown felt with red stitching.
