The 1939–45 Star The Africa Star, with original ‘1st Army’ clasp The France and Germany Star The Defence Medal The War Medal 1939–1945 Accompanied by an original period photograph of six British soldiers in tropical uniform, likely taken during wartime service overseas This is a complete set of medals for a British serviceman who saw active duty in both world wars. The 1st Army clasp indicates service in North Africa during the Second World War, and the photograph adds a personal and historical touch. Condition: The medals show natural age and wear; the ribbons are slightly frayed. The photograph is creased with wear to the edges but remains clearly visible.
