Jones of the Royal Air Force, comprising: WWI British War Medal (1914–1918) Silver issue with King George V on obverse and St George on horseback to reverse. Edge impressed: 152 A.M.3. W.C. JONES. R.A.F. WWII Defence Medal (1939–1945) Cupro-nickel issue with crowned bust of George VI and reverse showing Royal Arms. Complete with original red, white and blue ribbon. WWII War Medal (1939–1945) Cupro-nickel issue with crowned portrait of George VI and lion over defeated beast to reverse. All medals retain their original suspension bars. The WWI medal is named; the WWII medals are issued unnamed as standard. In good, lightly worn condition with some fraying to ribbon. A pleasing, complete service group to a Royal Air Force man who served in both World Wars. Condition: Minor age wear; original ribbon present on one. Diameter of each medal: Approx. 36 mm
