Description

A superior heavy cut glass and silver topped Dressing Table Jar, of nice proportions, stands 8 cm high and 7cm diameter.
The glass is cut in the hobnail design around the body and has a neatly cut star on the base.
The silver top, which fits nicely, is beautifully embossed.
Hallmarks are visible on the lid for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1902 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver.
The maker's mark is also visible for the silver maker: C.J & S
