Antique Sterling Silver Lidded Dressing Table Jar c.1902

A superior heavy cut glass and silver topped Dressing Table Jar, of nice proportions, stands 7 cm high and 6cm diameter. 
The glass is cut in the hobnail design around the body and has a neatly cut star on the base.
The silver top, which fits nicely, is beautifully embossed with flora and trellis design. 
Hallmarks are visible on the lid for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1902 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. 
The maker's mark is also visible for the silver maker: Adie & Lovekin Ltd.
