Antique Sterling Silver Lidded Dressing Table Hair Pin Jar c.1910.
A rare cut glass and silver topped dressing table vanity hair pin make up brush pot/jar. 
Nice proportions it stands 7 cm high and 6cm diameter. 
The glass is cut in the hobnail design around the body, the silver top, which fits nicely, is beautifully embossed with flora design.
Hallmarks are visible on the lid for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1910 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. 
The maker's mark is also visible for the silver maker: T H Hazlewood & Co.
