19th Century Blue and White Transferware Bowl – Chinoiserie Style A decorative 19th-century blue and white porcelain bowl with transfer-printed decoration in the chinoiserie manner. The interior features a central bird medallion framed by floral sprays and figure scenes, continuing over a scalloped rim and around the exterior. Likely of Chinese export or English manufacture for the mid-to-late 19th century, with a clear influence from earlier Chinese blue and white wares. The bowl measures 21 x 21 x 8 cm. In fair antique condition with surface wear and visible hairline cracks to the base as pictured. Nonetheless an attractive decorative piece retaining good colour and charm.
