Edwardian Solid Silver Sugar Tongs – Birmingham 1901 A good pair of antique solid silver sugar tongs, made by Joseph Gloster and hallmarked for Birmingham, 1901. Crafted in the classic fiddle pattern with oval bowls, the tongs are fully hallmarked to the inside of the arm: maker’s mark J.G (Joseph Gloster), lion passant for sterling silver, Birmingham anchor, and the date letter b for 1901. Length: 13 cm Weight: 35.6 g Condition: Offered in fair antique condition with tarnishing and surface marks consistent with age and use.
