Victorian Brass “Hinks Duplex” Oil Lamp A handsome late Victorian English brass oil lamp, fitted with a Hinks Duplex burner, circa 1890. The lamp features a classical fluted and gadrooned column with decorative geometric engraving to the centre, raised on a circular ebonised base with original green baize underside. The heavy brass reservoir retains its twin “Made in England – Duplex” wick controls. Measures: 18.5 x 18.5 x 46 (height) cm Good antique condition overall with expected age-related tarnish and surface wear. Some oxidation to the lower section and base as shown. Structurally sound and of good weight.
