14 Piece Spode ‘Butterfly’ Pattern Dessert Service - Dated 1954 A fine mid 20th century Spode dessert service in the attractive 'Butterfly' pattern (Y7378), dating from 1954. Each piece decorated with butterflies amidst grasses and foliage, with a fluted border and gilded rim. The set comprises 14 pieces: • 12 dessert plates (approx. 9¼ inch diameter) • 2 footed comports All pieces with Spode Copeland China England backstamp, impressed date marks, and hand-painted pattern numbers. Condition: Very good condition. Gilding clean, minor wear consistent with age.
