Carved Fire Surround with Caryatid Figures White Marble We are pleased to offer a lovely quality white marble fireplace The whole made from carved marble as a one-off bespoke commission piece for a London townhouse, however never installed. The fire surround measures 158 x 35 x 122 (height) cm The fireplace opening or aperture is 85.5 x 87.5 (height) cm A magnificent piece for the grand home. Disassembled the fire surround including the mantel shelf and hearth is in 11 pieces. Offered in good condition. A few nibbles to the marble and scratches to one or two pieces. A repaired crack to the base of one of the caryatid pillars as pictured.
