A substantial and decorative three-piece clock garniture set by Japy Frères, dating to the mid-19th century.
The central clock is housed in a very heavy architectural case of black marble with contrasting red and ochre breccia marble inlay.

The backplate shows typical Japy quality, and the mechanism is currently running, though sold without guarantee.
