Description
A small Chinese porcelain teacup dating to the late Qing Dynasty, circa 1880.
Finely potted in a tapering form with a recessed foot, and hand-painted in underglaze cobalt blue with a continuous landscape scene featuring stylised foliage, architectural forms and brushwork details.
The base is unglazed within the footrim, with typical firing grit and age-toning.
The glaze shows light wear and natural imperfections, including an old chip to the rim and minor kiln flaws commensurate with age and use.
A good example of late Qing provincial ware, suitable for display or use.
Dimensions: Width: 5.2 cm Height: 4 cm
Condition: Old rim chip and typical firing flaws.
Structurally sound.
