Antique 19th-Century Brass Inlaid Mantel Clock A decorative late 19th-century French mantel clock, the case crafted in stained hardwood and embellished with applied brass inlay. The octagonal dial housing is set above a rectangular plinth, each section decorated with brass panels depicting stylised equestrian and heraldic motifs. A turned urn finial and side ring handles complete the design. The clock features a white enamel dial with Roman numerals within a gilded bezel. To the reverse, a typical French round brass movement with circular factory medallion strikes on a coiled gong. Dimensions: Height 55 cm Width 37 cm Depth 17 cm Condition: Good condition commensurate with age. The movement runs happily in the showroom, though not guaranteed after transit
