Description
A finely modelled Sitzendorf porcelain vase, likely dating to the early to mid 20th century.
The piece features a cherub figure harvesting flowers with a sickle, set against a swirling tree trunk-style base adorned with applied forget-me-not flowers and foliate detailing.
The whole is glazed in white, with hand-painted accents to the flowers and tools.
Height: 20 cm
Condition: In good overall condition.
Some minor losses to the applied flowers consistent with age.
An old, well-executed repair to one of the cherub’s wings, visible on close inspection.
Marks: Impressed and painted marks to the underside, including a faint Sitzendorf underglaze blue mark.
