Description
Likely Continental, 19th Century
A decorative small vase, finely potted and finished in a pale blue glaze, with an intricate wraparound transfer-printed scene in sepia-brown.
The design features a dynamic hunting scene with horsemen, hounds, and wild boar set within a stylised woodland landscape – a subject popular in mid-to-late 19th century decorative arts, likely of Continental origin (possibly German or French).
Measurements: approx. 10 cm high × 7 cm diameter.
Condition: Good antique condition.
No cracks or chips.
Minor glaze irregularities and small firing marks as typical of the period.
Unglazed base with age-related soiling.
