We've a great bunch of people here at William George with a shared belief that there is a better way of treating people. They all care deeply about every transaction and interaction with the wonderful members of our community and strive to provide a trusted online platform for our buyers and sellers.
Get to know a few of them!
Robin has recently become a father despite not being able to look after himself he seems to be doing a pretty good job. Standing at 5ft tall he can’t get on all the rides at Alton Towers but what he lacks in height he makes up for in knowledge of the auction industry.
Jake enjoys eating copious amounts of vegetable-based products, is easily confused by the concept of time and its relevance, and has his own catchphrase - “did you know I’m 6 ft tall?”
Jake’s main focus is our business and its relationships, he’s a great people person and if you are looking to start working with WG then he is your man.
Luke is one of those creative types. Some would describe him as a precociously talented all-rounder who can master various art forms like music, animation, design and eating tinfoil. Others would call him a mischievous nincompoop.
If you’ve seen any of our social media or laughed at or been mildly offended by one of our emails, then blame Luke.
Helen is a turbo mum to 5-year-old twins and still, she is able to mastermind our marketing strategy! Not only this but she does it in style with her wardrobe of weather-related knitwear. With more pairs of glasses than a spectacle tycoon, she truly is a marvel by name and nature.
Charlotte is the latest addition to our expanding team and she’s one smart cookie! (She’s not actually a cookie – she’s a real person, but just as sweet!) Lottie, as she prefers to be known, is helping us with a whole host of different projects and joined us because this page made her laugh and because she loves Colin, our office dog.
Simone came into the world on Sports Day '93. I remember it well. After all that time, she still hasn't mastered the art of making a decent round of tea and coffee, but she hasn't stopped trying, even if we wish she would. Directionally challenged, every journey into the office is one of discovery, finding places we've never seen before!
Charlie lost the wrestling match to decide who got to keep the name Charlotte but what she lacks in wrestling skills, she makes up for with meticulous organisation and spreadsheet wizardry!
Garry only has 8 years left to live as all of his male ancestors have died at 54 years old. Not one to break from tradition Garry takes part in “Chip Shop Friday” every week to ensure smooth passage toward the light.
Garry is completely indispensable – he can do everyone else’s job and if you can understand his thick London accent then you’re likely to be charmed by Garry if you call us on the dog and bone.
Ellie is part human, part chatbot! She types faster than Hollywood actor Michael Fasstyper. If you want to chat about our auctions then you'll often find Ellie on the other end of our live chat.
Jade loves having her photo taken, you can never get her out of the way of a camera. When she isn't posing she is making sure vendors get their stock into auctions!
